Some of the teenagers nowadays, particularly students are known to be “gamers”. They are the addicts of online games that usually played in personal computer or PC. Most of the games are called multiplayer online battle arena video game. They are the Defense of the Ancients (DOTA), Heroes of Newerth (HON), League of Legends (LoL) and many more. The gamers are more likely to make this as their hobby. Furthermore, there is a new MOBA game that is published for phones, particularly in android. It is called the “Mobile Legends” and in fact, it becomes popular and even trends. In this case, another MOBA has been made and it’s somewhat comparable from the other MOBA games. A gamer wants to differentiate the League of Legends and the Mobile legends since it has almost the same in their names.

According to Wikipedia, “League of Legends, abbreviated LoL, is a multiplayer online battle arena video game developed and published by Riot Games for Microsoft Windows and macOS.” What the gamers control are called champions. It is chosen by the player, depending on their desire. The champions have its unique abilities in fighting, and also the players have its own strategies. The champion typically starts at level 1, and as it gains experience in the match, its highest level to reach is level 18. “Gaining champion levels in matches allows players to unlock their champion's special abilities and augment them in a number of ways unique to each character.”
“Players also begin each match with a low amount of gold, and can earn additional gold throughout the match in a variety of ways: by killing non-player characters known as minions and monsters, by killing or helping to kill enemy players, by destroying enemy structures, passively over time, and through unique item interactions or champion abilities. This gold can then be spent throughout the match to buy in-game items that further augment each champion's abilities and game play in a variety of ways. Champion experience, gold earned, and items bought are specific to each match and do not carry over to subsequent matches. Thus, all players begin each match on more-or-less equal footing relative to their opposing team.” (Wikipedia)
However, ‘Mobile legends: Bang Bang” is a brand new mobile eSports masterpiece of 2016 that is supported by Moonton. The game play of the League of Legends is also similar to the game play of Mobile Legends. As a gamer, who himself the writer of this text also, identifies the difference of the League of Legends and the Mobile Legends. There are lots of differences from LoL and Mobile Legends, but as a perception of a gamer, it’s based on his experiences.

First, LoL is inspired by DOTA while Mobile Legends is inspired by LoL. It makes some sense such why Mobile Legends is somewhat similar to LoL. But in fact, they have all the same game play, only the date when it made are more like their differences. On the other hand, LoL has a higher quality in graphics than Mobile Legends, that makes it more realistic and thrilling. Obviously, Mobile Legends is just only dedicated for android phones, so how it will going to have a graphics like LoL when phones and computers have a big difference in its capacity in RAM or Random Access Memory.
LoL requires a desktop or personal computer to be played while Mobile Legends is dedicated for Android users. Indeed, Mobile Legends is more convenient but LoL is more prominent. Handful can be considered in Mobile Legends, it can be played anytime without spending money, just time and internet and anyone can play it, while League of Legends needs a player to be more competitive and it’s actually more on real battles than Mobile Legends. LoL is not used to make it only a fun. For other gamers, LoL is a kind of big deal for them. The rankings are not a joke, it really indicates how great you are as a LoL player.
Also, Lol has more duration of time to play while Mobile Legends only spends 10-minute to finish a battle. Unlike Lol, Mobile legends has fewer champions to pick and use. "Champion” is the term used by LoL to indicate the particular character that chosen by a player while “hero” is used by Mobile Legends. In a nutshell, there are things that Lol and MOBA are really different to one another.
Despite of the differences, they still have their comparison. In the first place, their name has “legends” on it – League of “Legends”, Mobile “Legends”. But additionally, both Mobile Legends and LoL are really fun to play, especially with friends and relatives. It creates a bond together and especially makes a teamwork by cooperating in each other’s action. Definitely, they’re both 3d multiplayer online game that requires competitiveness and will to fight in order to win. They’re both popular and their gameplay are somewhat similar. Laning, jungling, tower-rushing, team battles, all the fun and strategies are all alike. From the statement before, they’re really are the same because they have only one genre of video game, which is multiplayer online game arena.
Playing one of these two (2) games are both alike in experience but still have differences especially in visual or graphics as an opinion of a gamer. Also in DOTA, they are all similar. The strategies of the players, the plans they make, and etc. As a gamer and also a student, there’s nothing wrong in playing these games, as long as it makes you fun and bond with friends. It just needs discipline in order to not let the players go with its flow and turn their least attention in their priorities, specifically their studies. Discipline is always important in every aspect, no matter what.
